Introduction.

In 21st century, diversity plays a vital role in every field specifically in Canada. Canada is one of the most diverse countries in the world. Diversity is important because it teaches an individual to be respectful, tolerant and understanding of each other's culture. It teaches a person to be supportive rather than being judgemental. Whether its a school, sports team, restaurant, workplace, church, parks, and lots of other places, you will find a diverse culture. It is said that Multiculturalism is the culture of canada. I totally agree but I wonder if it was ever intended to be? We realize that Canada supports immigration, skilled workers, international students, but was it always intended to support multiculturalism? Or was it once we became multiculturalism we accepted it, adopted it and made it our strategy?
